The Boeing F-15E Strike Eagle™ is an all-weather multirole fighter, derived from the McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle™. The F-15E was designed in the 1980s for long-range, high speed interdiction without relying on escort or electronic warfare aircraft. The Strike Eagle has been deployed in Operation Desert Storm, Operation Allied Force and Operation Enduring Freedom.
The Forces of Valor® model is of a F-15E Strike Eagle™ flown by the 391st Fighter Squadron part of the 366th Fighter Wing at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho. It operates F-15E Strike Eagle™ aircraft conducting close air support missions.
