It has been a busy weekend for fans in Tokyo as The Tokyo Comic Con just took place at Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall in Chiba, Japan. Hot Toys is very excited to take part in this spectacular event, showcasing a spectrum of brilliant collectible figures, statues and displays from Marvel, DC Comics, Star Wars and many more to our passionate fans! A lot of Cosplayers have showed up at the Hot Toys booth and gathered together in front of our awe-inspiring displays and purchased their favorite Hot Toys items at the pop-up store!
We are surprised with the appearance of the legendary Stan Lee at Hot Toys’ booth appreciating the Marvel collectible figure line-up! He’s also particularly fascinated by the 1/6th scale Stan Lee collectible figure Hot Toys! With overwhelming responses of Marvel’s widely acclaimed blockbuster Thor: Ragnarok, fans were so excited to check out the extremely eye-catching Gladiator Thor and Gladiator Hulk life-size statues located at the center of the booth. Furthermore, the 1/6th scale figures of the film’s main cast were also displayed!
Fans also got to see the 1/6th scale collectible figures from Spider-Man: Homecoming, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2, Marvel television series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Daredevil inside the Marvel zone. One of the highlights at the Comic Con was the appearance of Michael Rooker and he was especially fond of the 1/6th scale Yondu collectible figure by Hot Toys!
At the DC Comics zone, the 1/6th scale figures of the Superman, Batman in tactical suit, Cyborg, Wonder Woman, the Flash, and Aquaman from the recent DCEU blockbuster Justice League have made an appearance alongside figures from Suicide Squad and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice!
As the release of the Star Wars: The Last Jedi is just around the corner, Hot Toys have brought the latest 1/6th scale collectibles from the film such as Rey, Kylo Ren, Luke Skywalker, BB-8, BB-9E, Captain Phasma and Praetorian Guards to the show. On top of these awesome Star Wars displays, one of the most striking highlights in the Star Wars zone is the incredible 1/6th scale Millennium Falcon surrounded by Darth Vader and Imperial troopers.
In addition to Marvel, DC Comics and Star Wars, Hot Toys is very excited to share with fans for the first time in the world – the 1/6th scale collectible figures of Neo and Agent Smith from the classic Sci-Fi blockbuster The Matrix at Tokyo Comic Con!
Alongside all the amazing 1/6th scale collectibles, visitors are also able to see all the fun and adorable Cosbaby from upcoming and recently released blockbusters! Last but not least, a Hot Toys pop-up store was set up for guests to bring home their favorite Hot Toys Cosbaby and movie merchandises.
